D-Link announced the D-Link Air DWL-122 Wireless Network USB Adapter, the first compact wireless USB 1.1 adapter which works
across both Windows and Macintosh networks. The DWL-122 is a thumb sized very affordable adapter which can wirelessly connect your portable or desktop to a local network without opening the computer case. The sleek, compact USB wireless adapter gives mass consumers a flexible and affordable solution to connect to home and office networks and Internet hotspots.
    

The D-Link Air DWL-122 Wireless Network USB Adapter provides an 802.11b wireless connection with data transfer speeds up to 11Mbps and plugs directly into a standard USB 1.1/2.0 port. Because it pulls power from the Universal
Serial Bus, the D-Link Air Wireless Network USB Adapter doesn't require a separate power source, and it even comes with an extension cable so the adapter can be placed in the best location to connect with the strongest signal.

"We are making wireless connectivity easy by delivering an outside the box network solution that's affordable for both the PC and the Mac," said Steven Joe, President of D-Link. "The D-Link DWL-122 is small enough to be taken on-the-go, and fast enough to be used on a fixed network by simply plugging it in."

The D-Link Air DWL-122 Wireless Network USB Adapter is an 802.11b compliant device, ensuring compatibility with 802.11b/g standards-based
networking devices, and it supports both Apple Mac OS X (10.x and later) and Windows XP/2000/ME/98SE operating systems. The
D-Link DWL-122 features integrated 64/128-bit WEP encryption.

wireless print server that plugs directly into a standard parallel-port printer, the DP-311P gives users the ability to share one printer among multiple PCs and laptops. With the D-Link Wireless Print Server, the printer can be placed in the most convenient location for printing documents from networked computers without running cumbersome printer cables throughout the home or small office.

The D-Link DP-311P Wireless Print Server provides 802.11b wireless connectivity so that documents can be printed from multiple PCs and laptops from anywhere on the office network or your home. The DP-311P operates in either infrastructure or ad-hoc mode and multiple
DP-311P-enabled printers can be used on the same wireless network.

"The new one-port wireless print server adds convenience to the wireless network," said Steven Joe, President of D-Link. "Now the printer
can be placed anywhere within the wireless network and shared among every user, all without running cables."

The D-Link DP-311P is 802.11b compliant, ensuring compatibility with 802.11b/g standards-based networking devices, and it supports all major network operating systems and protocols. The user-friendly setup and configuration utilizes a Web browser and includes a Windows-based administrative program for quicker network configuration.
